Recovery In Action International is a group of ethnically and culturally diverse individuals bringing hope and the good news that individuals identified with mental illness, severe emotional distress, substance abuse and other social problems can and do achieve recoveries that can be significant/complete, or of the moderate variety.  We believe that the lessons and wisdom acquired during our illness and recovery are valuable gifts to be shared for the benefit of our community.
    We are integrated with individuals and organizations who are helpers and professionals of the healing arts, mental health services and spiritual practices who share our vision  We offer presentations by speakers who have recovered, or are recovering, from a variety of obstacles and diagnoses.  Speakers also represent the family and professional viewpoints.  We are working collaboratively to build a better community that welcomes, encourages and helps to heal those who have temporarily lost their way.  Join us in our journey to improve our community and beyond…
